So why is it that, even when we know that nutrition and fitness are the dynamic duo for a vibrant life, we sometimes struggle to prioritize both? We often let one slip to the background until we face a wake-up call—maybe it’s feeling winded after a flight of stairs or hearing about a health concern.
In my time at CrossFit Invigorate, I’ve seen that accountability is crucial. We often find it easier to let ourselves down than to let others down. But here, we’re all about lifting each other up!

- Share Your Intentions. Let a coach know when you plan to attend class. By vocalizing your goals, you’re more likely to follow through.
- Track Your Progress. Hang a calendar in a visible spot and mark off the days you work out or stick to your nutrition plan. Seeing your successes can motivate you to keep going!
- Share Your Journey. Consider posting about your progress on social media. Sharing your story can make you feel more committed to your goals.
- Take Progress Photos. Documenting your journey helps you appreciate how far you’ve come. Change is gradual, so looking back can be incredibly motivating!
- Schedule Goal-Setting Meetings. If you’re a CrossFit Invigorate member, let’s set up quarterly meetings to discuss your progress and goals! If not, find a friend to help keep each other accountable.
- Know Your “Why.” Understanding why you want to improve your fitness and nutrition is powerful. Visualize your goals and remind yourself of your motivations daily.
